The Table Worship – Sunday, September 11, 2011 at 5:30pm

Back by popular demand, this week The Table begins meeting for worship Sunday evenings at the Fairhaven library (1117 12th St.). We’ll begin our worship time with a Mexican meal at 5:30pm. Please feel free to bring something to share (don’t forget dessert!). This week we’ll look at Mark 12:28-34, if you want to read ahead. In preparation, I invite to reflect on this question, “What are the things that make up who a person is?”  If you’re interested, this week some of us are meeting at the library early, at 4:30pm, to pray for our church, our town, and our lives. We hope to have such a prayer gathering every month.

Next weekend, we have two things going on. on Saturday the 17th we’re helping volunteer for the Boys and Girls Club fundraiser. And on Sunday night, we’re gather  again for worship at the library.

Lastly, two things to note on our website. First, you’ll notice a new page, “Schedule.” This has our calendar up until New Year’s. That way you can plan ahead or tell a friend what to expect. Second, on the “Giving” page you now have the option to give to The Table online, via our friends at Giving Anonymously. 100% of your gift goes to The Table.

Let us know if there is anything I can do for you this week or being praying for.

Wow. It's Quiet Here...
