Table Blessing, Sat., Feb. 21, 10am / Worship, Feb. 22th, 5:30pm

Today marks the beginning of the church season of Lent. It’s a season where we prepare ourselves for Easter weekend. For the season of Lent, The Table is going to study the prayers of Jesus. To start us off, this week we will look at the solitude prayers, asking, “What is the point of prayer, and how did Jesus go about it?”

We will begin our worship gathering, this Sunday, February 22, at 5:30pm at the Fairhaven Library basement (1117 12th St.) with a shared meal. Bring something to share if you are able, otherwise just show up (there’s always enough). After the meal we will sing, pray, study, and take the Lord’s Supper together.

Also, this Saturday, February 21, we are joining neighbors for our month’s Blessing project. The neighborhood association asked us to organize a trash clean up. So, join us at 10am in the parking lot of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church (1720 Harris Ave.) and we’ll head out from there. This is a great chance to meet and serve alongside neighbors.

Invite a friend these gatherings; everyone is welcome! See you soon!
