First, starting at 9am at the intersection of 22nd St. and Harris Ave., we’re joining neighbors to paint the city and neighborhood approved design. Come and help us paint. We’ll have some coffee and treats available, and around lunch time we’ll fire up the grill (so bring something to grill and something to share). We hope to be done painting around 1pm, and cleaned up by 3pm. This is also sponsored by the Happy Valley Neighborhood Association.

Second, join us at 5pm as we partnering with Days for Girls International. This organization provides sustainable feminine hygiene kits that allow girls in the developing world the chance to go to school during their monthly cycle (otherwise they would have to stay home and miss school). We will gather at Bellingham Cohousing’s Common House (2614 Donovan Ave.) at 5pm for a potluck. Bring something to share (a main dish, side/salad, or dessert). Then we will together assemble these sustainable feminine hygiene kits together for Days for Girls to ship out.

Join us for either or both of these great events, and bring a friend!
